Do you want your wedding day to feel like stepping into a vibrant, blooming meadow, where every detail is infused with the natural beauty of wildflowers? This editorial shoot showcases a colourful wildflower theme that blends timeless elegance with nature’s whimsical charm. From custom drinks served from a mobile bar to sugar flowers on a cake, each element was thoughtfully curated to inspire couples dreaming of a wedding filled with the organic beauty of wildflowers.

Unlike traditional floral arrangements, wildflowers bring a burst of color and texture that feels both fresh and unrestrained. They symbolize the beauty of nature in its purest form, making them perfect for couples who wish to embrace a more natural and relaxed wedding style. Tavia, the owner and the creative mind behind Sweet Blooms, took inspiration from the gardens of the Coutts Centre and created arrangements that complement the beauty of the venue.

Incorporating your theme into the small details

Attention to detail is crucial when curating a themed wedding. We spared no detail in our wildflower wedding inspiration! Our fantastic baker Bake My Day created a stunning masterpiece with all handmade sugar flowers. Can you even believe these aren’t real?! Furthermore, hand painted sugar cookies double as a place card and make for a great edible guest favour.

Our custom stationery were designed to reflect the wildflower motif. The stationery featured floral illustrations and a colour palette inspired by the blooms. What’s more, stationery helps set the tone for the celebration from the moment guests receive their invitations.

Catering is another area where you can add your theme! For example, we chose flower infused signature cocktails and named them with the theme in mind. If your venue allows, consider adding a mobile bar or a tap truck for a fun guest experience.
